NIHR Global Health Research Group on Improving Adolescent Health and Wellbeing in Malawi: Steering Group
Our research endeavours are guided and enriched by a diverse and dedicated Steering Group, which convenes on a 6-monthly basis.
The group’s membership includes adolescents, government representatives, and third sector stakeholders. Together, we ensure that our engagement practices adhere to ethical and equitable standards, promoting meaningful participation and empowerment of adolescents. The Steering Group also plays a vital role in facilitating the dissemination and uptake of research findings, fostering resilience and progress in adolescent health and wellbeing.
The independent Steering Group serves as an advisory body, offering strategic insights to promote the successful achievement of our objectives. Comprised of invited experts with extensive knowledge and experience in Global trials, Research Methodologies, and both Government and Non-Government Organizations, their guidance is invaluable to the success of our initiatives.
Together with our esteemed Steering Group, we are committed to driving positive change for the wellbeing and future of Malawian adolescents.
