Objectives
Formative Research Objectives
Provide a comprehensive dataset on the psychological, sociocultural, socioeconomic, educational, political, and geographical contexts influencing adolescent health and wellbeing in Malawi.
Understand the current status of adolescent health and wellbeing, including the impact of factors such as water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), community engagement, and responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Longitudinal Observatory Objective
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the contexts that positively and negatively influence early adolescent health and wellbeing, including developmental trajectories in Malawi, with a focus on recovery from COVID-19-related shocks.
